Lowsonford is an attractive little village by the Stratford Canal. The jewel of this village, in our opinion, is the Fleur de Lys pub. Its one of those pubs which you would be hard put to find elsewhere in the world and makes me glad to live in England. The food is excellent, the drinks selection is good. However, the real plus point is the garden. This is large, runs alongside the canal and includes a good children's play area (swings, climbing frame etc.). Spending a warm summer's afternoon in such a garden with the occasional barge passing by drinking good beer is one of my favourite pastimes.
Lowsonford is signposted from the A4439 Warwick Road. It is just south of the M40, about two miles from Hockley Heath and 4 miles rom Warwick.
