Mobile Cinema - Sunday 17th July
The Mobile Cinema is three guys, a projector, a screen, a mobile phone and a van. We drive up and down the country for two weeks a year bringing a selection of fantastic films made by tomorrow's Oscar winners... The Mobile Cinema is part of Shooting People's ongoing efforts to bring the work of up and coming UK filmmaking talent to the audience it deserves, wherever they live. Our programme this year includes Asvhin Kumar's Oscar Nominated film "Little Terrorist" which, like all the films we screen, was made through the Shooting People independent film community. 1pm Jug & Jester, Bath Street, Leamington Spa. Free.

A good local four screen cinema with a bar. Only opened about three years ago so up to date and in good condition. Gets all the big box office films. A recent fire has led to refurbishment so expect it to look even smarter now.

When you go to the cinema in the evening, you usually leave too late for the multi-story car parks (they're closed by then) but you can usually park on the road near to the cinema.

Drive along Dormer Place and, if you can't find anywhere to park along there, turn into Augusta Place (you'll see the cinema, nearly on the corner). The cinema has a small car park itself, but that will probably be full. You can park legally on most of the roads near the cinema. Turn left at the mini-roundabout by the cinema - there may be parking spaces along here. If not, turn right into Portland Street and go up to Regent Street. Still no luck? Turn right into Regent Street and then first right back down Augusta Place.
